"I am the pastor of a San Francisco Bay Area church. Our ministry is a bit unique in that on our 14 acre campus, in addition to our church complex, we operate a Swim, Tennis and Fitness facility. Every week, because of our unique calling, some 5000 people come to us and call either the church or the community center their home. About 80% of those people are unchurched completely. For some time I had been praying for the right opportunity to bring Doug Pollock out to train our staff and the core of our church in Irresistable Evangelism. We hosted an all church retreat in May, and every attendee received Doug’s book with their pre-registration and was asked to read it before attending the retreat. We flew Doug out early to coach our staff in sharpening our evangelism value, strategy and scorecard. What took place our weekend together was nothing short of supernatural! Our people were not given a canned presentation, but proven tools, an eternal perspective, and relevant media saturated presentations (a key value for us here in Silicon Valley!) that both equipped and inspired. Our people wrestled, practiced, interacted, discussed, prayed, cried and laughed till our cups were full. At the end of the weekend, we were a force ready to bless, serve and engage our community with a strategy that I believe is germane and significant in bringing Jesus to people. My only regret is that I didn’t bring Doug out sooner! Our whole church has been catapulted to a whole new level, evangelistically speaking! If you have your Lead Pastor’s ear, please encourage him to consider bringing Doug in. The American church needs the Irresistible Evangelism experience."

"Many evangelical Christians are competent in presenting the content of the gospel but not in connecting with people in a way that they want to live the gospel with us in community. Doug, I think your grasp of our current culture and where people are at spiritually is spot on. You understand the thinking of post modern people without using overused Christian language to describe it. Your non-confrontational approach is refreshing, informative, and challenging."

"As I reflected on our recent workshop with Doug Pollock, I found myself wishing that I had heard it 20 years ago. There have been multiple occasions when my well-intentioned "evangelistic" style was too aggressive and eventually pushed somebody further from the cross rather than nearer to our Savior. Doug's approach is authentic, fresh, and innovative, and filled with practical wisdom. Your church can't afford to miss the conversation Doug's visit will stir up. "

"If your church is more interested in being the church than having church, Doug Pollock could be your new best friend. As a trainer, Doug offers practical steps that help everyone find it easier to have spiritual conversations. As a consultant, Doug is an invaluable resource as you build a strategic plan for impacting your community. If you've not utilized him before, you need to talk to him today! "

“When was the last time you and your church could say, ‘We really had fun learning to meaningfully share Christ with our culture’”? “ As a pastor for 33 years I had just about given up on there being evangelism training that really understood culture and helped people bridge the gap from market place realities to sensitively sharing Christ. Our “Irresistible Evangelism” training with Doug Pollock was a spiritual “Starbucks” for those thirsting for reality in sharing Christ. ”

“In North America we live in a culture that distorts the Gospel message every day. In Campus Crusade we are a “connecting the Gospel with lost people movement.” Dr. Bright often said that most people properly approached would want to receive Christ.“Irresistible Evangelism” by Steve Sjogren, Dave Ping and fellow staff member Doug Pollock (AIA’s Evangelism Trainer) helps us take a fresh look at how we relate the Gospel message. It tests some of our assumptions regarding how we deliver our message and reminds us to connect well with those who so desperately need to hear. ”

“I have been teaching the Contagious Christianity Class here at Cedar Creek and our syllabus has been a condensed combination of the “Contagious Christianity” with some of Bill Fey’s Evangelism techniques tossed in for good measure. The Bridge, The Romans Road, Do versus Done etc.... A great class but it still didn’t seem to get people where they needed to be to share the Gospel message of Jesus Christ.I went to a Seminar a few months back that was here at the Creek that was called ”Irresistible Evangelism”. I was impressed with Doug Pollock’s presentation and I was impressed with the philosophy of I.E. I was so impressed that I asked if we could test it out and run this course instead of our regular course and I got the green light. I have previewed the DVD and the facilitator’s guide. I’ve gone over the legally reproducible handout book and I am ready to go with a new tool that will surely help our Church grow. The price of the course and the workshop were very reasonable. I recommend that you investigate this course for you and your Church team. ”

“At the core of the “Irresistible Evangelism” workshop came a compassion for our friends who do not yet have a relationship with Christ. So many of our people were left excited about sharing their faith rather then feeling guilty because they do not share their faith enough. No gimmicks, no judgmental questions, no scripted conversation to memorize. The IE Workshop inspired and equipped our congregation to prayerfully approach the relationships they already have with the grace and truth only found in Christ. "

“In the past number of years as a ministry leader I have been acutely aware of how our culture has changed and how this has impacted our ability to minister effectively. While our message has not changed we have seen a growing disconnect between the people we are seeking to influence and the gospel truths we hold so dear. Our ministry paradigms and approaches were not giving us access into people’s lives in the way that would bring about true transformation so as a result we started to deconstruct some of our approaches and / or eliminate certain “tools” that seemed obsolete. Although this change was necessary the result was painful as we had many ministers of the gospel without any real tools to see people impacted for Christ. This led to much confusion and disillusionment. It was at this time that I reconnected with Doug and we began to talk about where we were at as a ministry. When Doug showed me the golf analogy that he uses to explain the process of seeing people come to Christ it was like a light went off in my head. It was so clear that we were missing some critical “clubs” in our “ministry golf bag”. In actual fact we needed to better understand the field of play and become skilled in using different clubs for different scenarios. Since this time we have had Doug come and train and equip our staff on two occasions and these sessions have been extremely enlightening, stimulating, practical, fun, and liberating. Having studied and experienced much training on evangelism I can unequivocally say that what Doug has developed is by far the most relevant and helpful that I have seen anywhere. He is on the cutting edge of evangelism training and I firmly believe that if we can apply the things he teaches we will experience years of fruitful ministry and we will see a harvest of souls for God’s glory.”

“The “IRRESISTIBLE EVANGELISM” workshop was well accepted by our Student Athletes, Executive Groups, and Women’s Bible Study. Each group was eager to grasp the “relational style” in communicating Biblical truths to their world of influence. The video clips, candid discussions, and practice sessions made the workshop practical and enjoyable. All who attended were infused with energy as they realized the pleasure of an honest, relational approach in discussing spiritual matters with their friends and acquaintances. ”
